The Florida Building Code Seventh Edition (2020) (FBC) is the current version that became effective on December 31, 2020 after it was adopted by the Legislature in Chapter 61G20-1.001. The Florida Building Commission recommended its adoption using as a Base Document the International Building Code promulgated by the International Code Council.
